Design & Atmosphere
Each of the 12 luxurious suites includes its own private plunge pool with glass and canvas walls optimising the magnificent views. The decks, which are perfect for leisurely dining and relaxing, are suspended off the river banks, allowing guests to be fully immersed in nature. Ebony is an exciting mix of past and present - interiors feature gentle colours inspired by nature – indigo, ecru and ochre, while fold-up safari style furniture is matched beautifully with antiques and heirlooms. African art, sourced from local artisans pays a warm tribute to the creativity of the continent. The Conservation Room is at the heart of the main lodge, a consciously curated space showcasing fascinating artefacts where guests can explore the living heritage of the region. Located in the private Sabi Sand Nature Reserve in South Africa, Ebony Lodge gives guests access to 45,000 acres within a breathtaking wildlife sanctuary that’s renowned for its high concentrations of big game and frequent leopard sightings.
